Business Class – 

• The airline allows cancellation before the scheduled departure and is subject to the cancellation fee. 
• The airlines allow the cancellation after the scheduled departure. You need to pay the no-show fee.

Premium Economy – 

• Cancellation is allowed for a fee starting at 150 USD per passenger per booking segment.
• If the passenger fails to board the flight, the entire booking value would be forfeited.
• If the passenger is marked no-show on the outbound flight, the inbound flight gets automatically canceled. No refund can be claimed. 

Economy Class –

• Cancellation and refunds are allowed on Y, B, S, R, U fares. 
• The airlines do allow cancellation on the A, Q, P, T, L, K, N fares. 
• If the passenger fails to board the flight, the entire booking value would be forfeited.
• The airline charges a cancellation fee starting at 200 USD per person per reservation.

Air Belgium 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

 As per the Air Belgium cancellation policy, the airline allows you to cancel the flight and claim a refund on the full value of the ticket without paying any cancellation fee. The terms and conditions include – 

• The 24-hour cancellation is applicable to all fare types.
• The scheduled departure date must be booked 7 days in advance to claim a full refund. 
• The service is not applied to re-issued travel tickets or reservations booked with travel credit vouchers.
• Any reservation booked with miles is not covered under this service. 
• Any reservation that carries 10 or more passengers under the same booking reference is not covered under the Air Belgium 24 hours cancellation policy and is subject to group contract. 

How to Cancel an Air Belgium Flight Ticket?

If you’re holding a refundable ticket and want to cancel a flight, you can simply cancel it by visiting Air Belgium’s official website or simply calling the airline’s cancellation phone number. 

Cancel Flight Ticket Online

In case the ticket is a non-restricted fare or fully refundable, then go to the ‘Manage Booking’ section of the airline’s website. This is how you can cancel your booking – 

• Visit the Air Belgium official website and navigate to the Manage Booking section.
• Enter the six-digit confirmation number or 13-digit ticket number to retrieve the booking along with the last name.
• Select the flights that you need to claim a refund.
• You will see the refund amount displayed on the screen. The refund amount is to be generated minus the airline’s cancellation fee.  
• After cancellation, the refund would be processed in the original method of payment in 7-10 business days.

Air Belgium Refund Policy

As per the Air Belgium cancellation policy if you book from a credit card, the airline processes the refund in 1 to 2 billing cycles. Follow the other refund guidelines that help you get the refund for your Air Belgium booking – 

• For reservations made with a debit card, the refund is reflected in the card statement in 7-10 business days. 
• For reservations made with any other method other than debit/credit cards, the airline will issue a cheque in the name of the person ticketed in the reservation or the person who paid for the ticket.
• In the case of the multiple flight segments booked, the most restrictive fare rule will apply while claiming the refund.
• In case of a canceled flight event, passengers have the option to claim the refund on the unused portion of the ticket if not opting for an alternate flight.
• Only Business Class fares are refundable after the scheduled departure minus the no-show fee.
