Porter Airlines Cancellation Policy

Except in the case of Basic Fare booking, all fares are cancelled by the passengers up to one hour prior to the scheduled departure of the booking associated with the fare rules, provided that the following Porter Airlines cancellation policy will apply – 

• As per Porter Airlines cancellation rules, passengers are not allowed to cancel the Basic fare at any time, except within 24 hours of the date of purchase
• As per Porter Airlines ticket cancellation policy, the standard fares are non-refundable and is subject to a 100 USD cancellation fee per passenger per direction, except where the passenger request a cancellation at the airport on the date of the scheduled departure, in which case Porter Airlines cancellation fee would be 200 USD per passenger per direction applies. 
• As per Porter Airlines refund policy, Flexible fares shall be non-refundable and is subject to a 155 USD cancellation fee per passenger per direction,  except where the passenger request a cancellation at the airport on the date of the scheduled departure, in which case Porter Airlines cancellation fee would be 255 USD per passenger per direction applies. 
• To cancel ticket with Porter Airlines, passengers would get in return the future travel credit which remains valid for one year from the date of issuance, where the credit value shall remain equal to the unused portion of the ticket
• When redeeming the Porter Airlines cancellation credit towards the future booking, passengers may apply the credit towards the base fare, airline surcharges, Porter Airlines cancel flight fee and government taxes. 
• Porter Airlines flight cancellation fee is waived when any reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided that the scheduled departure date must be 7 days or more at the time of cancellation. 
• As per Porter Airlines cancellation policy, for passengers who fail to show up for the flights, and do not otherwise initiate a cancellation, the fare of the unused portion of the ticket remains non-refundable and non-creditable towards future flights under any circumstances. 
• As per Porter Airlines cancel flight policy, the airline reserve the waive the payment by a passenger of a cancellation fee
• Porter Airlines ticket cancellation fee is payable by the passenger and is charged per one-way travel, per person.

Porter Airlines 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

Passengers are allowed to cancel their reservation for free within 24 hours of the date of booking, and no Porter Airlines cancellation fee would be applicable, provided that the scheduled departure date must be at least 7 days at the time of requesting Porter Airlines cancellation. Here are the following terms and conditions associated with Porter Airlines 24 hour cancellation –

• Porter Airlines 24 hour cancellation would be applicable on the restricted as well as non-restricted fares
• Porter Airlines 24-hour cancellation policy would be restricted on the rebooked flights
• Porter Airlines reservations booked with frequent flyer points are not covered under 24-hour cancellation
• Reservations that include more than 9 passengers are deemed as group booking, and are not covered under Porter Airlines cancel booking within 24 hours, and are subject to Porter Airlines group cancellation policy. 
• Porter Airlines cancellation fee would be charged outside the 24-hour risk-free cancellation period. 

Porter Airlines Cancellation Fee

As per Porter Airlines cancellation policy, all voluntary changes to the flight booking may require payment of an additional cancellation penalty. In the event of any unexpected trip cancellation or family/medical emergency, the airline will not able to make exceptions for the Porter Airlines ticket cancellation fee –

Porter Airlines Cancel Booking Online – Follow these steps to cancel the Porter Airlines reservation online – 

• Visit flyporter.com and click on ‘Manage Flights’ tab to access your booking
• Click on My Booking section, and enter the confirmation number along with the last name to proceed.
• Select the flight segment that needs to be cancelled, and click on the ‘Cancel’ button to proceed
• As per Porter Airlines flight cancellation policy, the cancellation request would be applicable on the unused portion of the ticket only.
• For some Porter Airlines booking, the airlines may offer a one-year future travel credit to reschedule a flight at a later date, if the passenger prefers to cancel the booking prior to departure.
• Passengers will get the Porter Airlines refund details at the checkout page. Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to proceed to cancellation. 
• After cancellation, passengers will get the cancellation confirmation on their registered email and the said Porter Airlines refund would be credited back to the original form of payment in 7-10 business days.

Porter Airlines Cancel Booking Over the Phone – If a passenger is holding the restricted fare, passengers need to dial Porter Airlines cancellation contact number, and do the following –

• Make the information available about changes to the flight time within 30 minutes of the time they are notified of changes
• The passenger needs to provide a valid email address in order to send the valid notification to that address

As per Porter Airlines cancellation policy, regardless of any flight disruption that delays arrival to your final destination by three or more hours, the airline will – 

• Porter Airlines allows complimentary rescheduling at no additional cost
• In case, the flight reschedule option does not meet the passenger’s travel needs, passengers are entitled to get the Porter Airlines refund in the original form of payment.

Due to any flight disruption, regardless of the length of delay, passengers are entitled to get a minimum standard of treatment in the form of on-site care, such as – 

• Meal and refreshment vouchers for use at airport restaurants and eateries. If vouchers are not available due to inventory issues, a maximum of 35 USD per day would be reimbursed. Receipts would be required for validation 
• In case of an overnight delay, passengers are entitled to airport transportation and hotel accommodation
• If a departure is delayed for more than two hours, the airline will offer free access to a means of communication
• If the flight is delayed for three or more hours, passengers can choose from one of the alternate options – 

• Free rescheduling of the Porter Airlines reservation to the passenger’s final destination or stopover
• Choose an alternate flight
• Porter Airlines cancel a flight of all unused flight segments with no penalty and receive an airline credit or when the flight delay is due to a situation that is under the airline’s control, a Porter Airlines refund would be issued to the original form of payment

Porter Airlines Cancelled Flight Compensation

In case of a Porter Airlines cancelled flight, delay, or any flight disruption event, that results in a delay of three or more hours where the airline informs the passenger within 14 days before the scheduled departure, passengers are entitled to get the Porter Airlines cancelled flight compensation in the form of – 

• 125 USD, if the flight arrived at the final destination or stopover, is delayed by three hours or more but less than six hours
• 250 USD, if the flight arrives at the final destination or stopover, is delayed by six hours or more but less than nine hours
• 500 USD, if the flight arrives at the final destination or stopover, is delayed by nine hours or more

Porter Airlines cancellation claim will be offered in cash or electronic vouchers, which must be of greater value and cannot expire.

• No Porter Airlines cancel booking refund would be allowed due to visa refusal or deportation unless the law of such country requires that such Porter Airlines reservations would be refunded.
