T’way Air Flight Cancellation Policy

As per the T’way Air cancellation policy, the airline does not accept the cancellation of reservations and/or additional services purchased by any other airlines. You must also take a note of following situations – 

  • Any flight that is cancelled by the  passenger was obtained through the airline’s website, airline’s call centre. The refund would be made to the original debit/credit card that was used at the time of purchase. 
  • T’way Air cancellation policy would be applicable on the refundable as well as non-refundable fares.
  • In case the passenger agrees that the cancellation was admissible due to any involuntary reasons, it shall be made according to the T’way Air cancel flight compensation policy. 
  • Passengers can apply or claim for the cancelled flight compensation up to 10 calendar days after the cancellation has done. 
  • T’way Air may issue a flight certificate to a Passenger who was unable to board a flight on the scheduled date due to the death of an immediate family member or due to serious illness discretion, provided that the Passenger must submit the death certificate or the medical certificate.
  • In order to be eligible for the refund, the cancellation must be made before the flight check-in request.

T’way Air 24 Hour Flight Cancellation

As per the T’way Air cancellation policy, the cancellation that was made within 24 hours following the issuance of a 13-digit ticket number is eligible for the full refund. Passengers willing to cancel within 24 hours of purchase must note that the scheduled departure date must be booked at least 1 week or more in advance. To get a full refund, you must note that – 

  • The flight must be operated by T’way Air.
  • Bookings include no more than 9 passengers.
  • Re-issued flight bookings are not eligible for 24 hour cancellation.
  • Reservations cancelled outside 24 hour of booking must attract a cancellation penalty. 
  • The departure date must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
  • Flight must be cancelled or changed within 24 hours.

How to Cancel the T’way Air Flight?

Passengers can cancel the flight up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure for the flight departing outside South Korea. You can cancel the flight either online through the airline’s website or through the customer support. 

Method 1: Online Flight Cancellation

You can cancel the flight online provided that the reservation was booked through the m.twayair.com or through the airline’s mobile app. The steps include – 

  • Visit the airline’s website and access your flight reservation through the Manage Reservations section.
  • Enter your booking credentials to retrieve your booking. 
  • Select the flight that you like to cancel. In case there is a cancellation fee involved, the amount would be deducted from the booking value.
  • At the checkout page, you can see the adjusted refunded value that you can claim as a cash or credit.
  • Confirm your selection to cancel the flight. The airline will process the refund in 7-10 business days. 

Method 2: Flight Cancellation Via Phone Call

Any flight reservation that was booked at the airline’s airport counter, through airline’s call centre or through any third-party travel agency, you can reach the flight representative by calling the T’way Air customer service.


T’way Air Refund Policy

As per the T’way Air cancellation policy, the refund would be made to the unused portion of the ticket, and according to the following conditions – 

  • You must apply for the refund within the validity of the period. 
  • Fully unused airline tickets have a 1-year validity from the date of issue, and once used .
  • Any passenger who applies for the refund must request as per the T’way Air cancellation policy by using the airline’s website, the customer service or through the airport ticket counter. 
  • You can apply for the refund only if you made the payment through your own credit/debit card. However, if any reservation was booked on your behalf, the refund will be made to the person who paid for the ticket. 
  • In case there is a cancellation fee involved, the amount would be deducted from the booking value. 
  • In the event of a refund owing to the death or illness of a passenger or direct family member, the T’way Air cancellation fee may be waived if the relevant medical or health declarations are provided.
  • The airline will process the refund in the original method of payment. Tickets purchased with credit/debit card would be reflected in 7 business days. The flight reservations purchased with any other method of payment would process the refund to the passenger in the form of a cheque in 30 business days. 
  • The flight ticket is not refunded once the 60 days is passed after the completion of the trip. 
  • At any time, the airport fee and fuel surcharge can be refunded.

As per the T’way Air cancellation policy, the amount of the airline’s penalty would be applicable to passengers of all age groups. In case of the discounted fare, the T’way Air flight cancellation fee will be applied as per the fare rule.
