Can I check-in at the airport and not online?

How much is the fee to complete the check-in at the airport?

There are costs associated with checking in at the airport. Passengers who have not checked in online will be charged a 60 USD (or 35 USD for flights leaving Spain) per passenger airport check-in fee. 

The boarding pass reissue fee, which is 25 USD per passenger, will be applied if you have checked in but have not printed your boarding card.

Where can I find my boarding pass?

You can find your Ryanair boarding pass in several ways:

• At the airport – If you checked in at the airport and lost your boarding pass, you should go to the Ryanair check-in desk to request a new one. 

You will need to provide your travel documents, such as your passport or ID card, and your booking reference number or e-ticket confirmation to the check-in agent.

What if I can’t print my boarding card because I don’t have access to a printer?

If you are unable to print your Ryanair boarding pass because you don’t have access to a printer, you can still board your flight by using the Ryanair mobile app or requesting a paper boarding pass at the airport check-in desk.

Do I have to print my Ryanair ticket?

No, you do not have to print your Ryanair ticket if you have a mobile device with the Ryanair mobile app or have access to your email with your e-ticket. 

Which airports do not accept mobile boarding pass from Ryanair?

On flights departing from the majority of its network’s airports, RyanAir accept mobile boarding passes.

Unfortunately, certain airports do not yet accept mobile boarding cards. These airports are:

• Turkey 
• Morocco
• Israel Lebanon 
• Kefalonia

What documents do I need for Ryanair check-in?

• Health insurance

I am a non-EU/EEA national who requires a visa check. What should I do?

Before passing through airport security, all non-EU/EEA citizens must have their travel documents inspected and stamped at the Ryanair Visa/Document check desk. 

The details for routes requiring required visa/document checks will be displayed on your boarding permit.

Non-EU/EEA nationals must follow these procedures in order to abide by immigration authority regulations. 

If there is any violation of this restriction, RyanAir has the right to cancel the flight.

I am an EEA or EU national. Do I need to give the visa checks more time?

Yes. All travelers are advised to give the airport’s visa screening process more time. The check-in counters and the Visa/Document Check desks open at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time and close exactly 40 minutes before that time. 

You won’t be able to travel and won’t be eligible for a refund for the missed flight if your visa check isn’t finished before this cutoff date.

What happens if my travel documents are stolen or misplaced while I’m away?

If your travel documents, such as your passport or national ID card, are stolen or misplaced while you are away, you should take immediate steps to replace them. The following are some steps you can take:

• You should report the loss or theft of your travel documents to the local police deployed at the airport as soon as possible.
• Contact your embassy or consulate as soon as possible to inform them of the situation.
• Contact your airline to inform them of the situation and to see if they can assist you with any necessary changes to your travel plans.

Can I modify my travel documents now that I’ve checked in?

No. It’s not possible to modify your travel documents, such as your name or date of birth, once you have checked in with Ryanair.

On my outbound and return flights, can I use a different set of travel documents?

On both your outbound and return flights, the airline does not accept different travel documents. The only exception is if a travel document is lost or stolen and a temporary document issued by the government needs to be used for one of your visits.

My name on the travel document does not match the name on the booking. Is there an issue here?

Yes, if the name on your travel document, such as your passport or national ID card, does not match the name on your booking with Ryanair, you may encounter issues during check-in and boarding.
