• VivaAerobus Reservation Changes are subject to the applicable charges, fees, taxes, and/or fare difference if the cost of a new flight is higher than the current flight itinerary. 
• The VivaAerobus change flight request may just be made 4 hours before the scheduled departure, provided passengers have not completed the check-in request. 
• Passengers must use a similar name if there are multiple flights scheduled under the same Reservation PNR subsequently when the booked flight leg is utilized under a certain name, Passengers will never again have the option to change the name for another flight segment.
• In such situations where new Fare is applied from the  Reservation Change, and it is lesser than the Fare initially paid, Passengers will simply pay the VivaAerobus flight change fee, without being entitled to a refund of the residual value. 

VivaAerobus Change Flight Rules

Let’s understand the flight change rules you need to comply with, before making a reservation change – 

• As per the VivaAerobus flight change policy, any Passengers who have booked a flight with Zero Fare are not allowed to make any changes to the date, name, flight time, or destination of their Reservation.
• Passengers are allowed to make Reservation Changes for free under the VivaAerobus change flight policy, and no change fee would be assessed if passengers make the changes within 24 hours of booking provided that the scheduled departure date must be 7 or more days at the time of making changes. Fare differences may apply. 
• If the Passenger makes any changes to the existing Reservation, including changes to the date, route, name, and/or inclusion of additional services, and such changes are not paid in accordance with the VivaAerobus flight change policy, the reservation gets automatically cancelled. And, no refund would be applicable for the unused portion of the ticket under any circumstances. 
• If passengers have booked a multiple flight segment that includes flights other than VivaAerobus, the most restrictive fare rule will apply. The change fee would be collected from all the airlines involved in the itinerary. 
• The change flight request made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure may incur 10% of the fare value as the additional change fee alongside applicable fare difference. 
• In such situations where Passengers demand a Reservation Change and the Fare then current is more than the one initially paid; Passengers must pay the applicable fare difference alongside the VivaAerobus flight change fee.
• Any additional VivaAerobus change fee will be determined by the fare rule and will be advised to the passenger at the time of making the flight change. 

Flight Change by VivaAerobus 

VivaAerobus flight change policy reserves the right to make changes to the passenger’s flight schedules. We recommend passengers to check the timing of the flight on the airlines’ website prior to the scheduled departure. Some of the important points include – 

• VivaAerobus will advise Passengers about the time and/or date change via the email or phone number provided at the time of booking a flight. This information will help passengers take appropriate action.
• VivaAerobus is not liable if the Passenger is unaware of the Reservation Change notification, whether owing to the Passenger’s mistake in inputting his or her contact information when making the Reservation. The airlines assume that passengers are responsible for adding the contact details correctly and are responsible for any correction.

VivaAerobus 24 Hour Change Policy

Passengers are allowed to make Reservation Changes for free under the VivaAerobus flight change policy, and no change fee would be assessed if passengers make the changes within 24 hours of booking provided that the scheduled departure date must be 7 or more days at the time of making changes. • Group Booking – No more than 9 passengers on the same booking are eligible under the 24-hour change policy. More than 9 passengers are subject to the VivaAerobus group contract.

• Rebooked or Rescheduled flights – Any flight which is already rescheduled for another date is not allowed for modification within 24 hours.

As per the VivaAerobus name change policy, the name change is not allowed on your booking to another person. As such, please check all the details before making a new flight booking.

• Visit the web.vivaAerobus.com and My flight tab at the top of the home page

• On the ‘Modify Your Reservation’ page, enter the six-digit booking reference and the surname of the passenger. Click on the SEARCH button to proceed. 
• Select the itinerary or the flight leg you wish to change, and click on the ‘Change Flight’ to proceed.
• Select the new flight date or time. Click on the CONTINUE button now.
• Select the new flight that suits your travel needs, and click on CONTINUE to proceed.  
• VivaAerobus Reservation Changes are subject to the applicable charges, fees, taxes, and/or fare difference if the cost of a new flight is higher than the current flight itinerary. 
• Pay for the necessary change with debit or credit card at the checkout page. 
• Review your itinerary and click on ‘Finish’ to complete. 

Change VivaAerobus Flight Over the Phone

VivaAerobus Schedule Change Policy

VivaAerobus publishes its flight schedules up to 11 months in advance. The airlines give ample time to the passengers to make adjustments to their travel plans. In some instances, the VivaAerobus may make changes to the flight schedules after it is published to accommodate changes in aircraft and routes. The VivaAerobus schedule change may include – 

• Changes to the departure or arrival times of flights
• Changes in flight frequency
• Travel routes are being added or removed.
• Changes in aircraft type

Here are the important considerations that passengers may need to know under the VivaAerobus Schedule Change Policy – 

• Any flight schedule change that results in delay for less than (4) hours is not subject to any VivaAerobus change flight compensation.
• If the scheduled departure or arrival time changes, the airline will offer the flight option that meets the flight passenger’s needs. The airline will offer alternate flights where –
  • The origin and destination will remain the same as the original itinerary
  • If the existing flight booking has the connection, then the passenger can choose an alternate flight with a different connecting city
• If the alternative flight does not meet the passenger’s travel needs, the airline will refund the unused portion of the ticket as prescribed in the VivaAerobus cancellation policy. Passenger is only eligible for a refund if
  • The scheduled departure or arrival time changes significantly
  • The airline is unable to offer you the flight in the same class of service as booked. Here the full refund will apply if the passenger no longer continues to travel.
