• Unaccompanied minors (5–12 years old) who travel alone are only permitted to do so. 
• For kids aged 13 to 17, the service is not required.
• Minors must have a companion who is at least 18 years old and bring their printed boarding pass to the check-in counter.
• Children between 2 and 4 years old may purchase Volaris minor traveling alone service only if they are traveling with a family member between 13 and 17 years old. Both of them will be regarded as unaccompanied children in this situation. They both have to use the unaccompanied minor service.

Restrictions Under Volaris Unaccompanied Minor Policy

Minors under the age of 15 are not permitted to be seated in emergency exit seats for safety concerns. In addition – 

• The period between flights for connection for unaccompanied minors must be at least 2 hours and not more than 4 hours.
• Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to travel on codeshare flights.

Required Documents for Minor Traveling Alone

The parent/guardians must submit 3 copies of each of the following documents. These documents need to be submitted at the time of check-in with Volaris Airlines. The said documents must be presented 3 hours in advance of the flight schedule, whether it is domestic or international travel.
